From Vancouver to Bamfield, I’ve finally found my home in beautiful Port Alberni. My passion for real estate and love for the Alberni Valley lifestyle are what inspired me to put down roots here with my family.

I hold a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario (2004) and have a background in hospitality, where I managed restaurants, hotels, and gyms. That experience eventually brought me to Bamfield, where I helped revitalize the community by managing 12 properties for the Huu-ay-aht First Nations, including the motel, pub, lodges, gallery, fuel dock, and airstrip.

Now in my sixth year in real estate, I’m proud to have achieved REMAX Platinum status every year and to be one of the fastest Lifetime Achievement award recipients in the region’s history.
Above all, I’m dedicated to my family and to the Port Alberni community. I love sharing the natural beauty and close-knit spirit of this valley with my wife and two children.

Leona's calm, positive, and kind attitude keep our clients smiling every day – but be warned, she has her 4th degree black belt in karate! She teaches in the Alberni Valley several times a week. An avid hiker, she also loves the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Prior to coming aboard the Dave Koszegi Group, Monica was involved in the Real Estate industry through her career in banking - mortgages, and conveyancing.

As Listings Co-ordinator, Monica works with Sellers on their property listing,  curating it to the highest standards, to produce a high quality and meaningful marketing presentation. Monica's eye for detail is unparalleled!
