Named after an entrepreneur and colonial official Gilbert Malcolm Sproat, this lake spans over 25 kms with nearly 300 kms of shoreline. This is home of the last Martin Mars type waterbombers, which were built in limited numbers for the US Navy during World War II.
Today, surrounding Sproat Lake homes for sale, you’ll find a host of outdoor recreation here including all types of water sports, camping at the two provincial parks, fishing for Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout, and hiking trails that run along the eastern edge to unique prehistoric petroglyphs.
